There are two components involved: One connects Eclipse to MySQL or other database on your website to keep customer and item records in-sync, and the other connects your website application and Eclipse to allow orders and status updates to flow back and forth.

Eclipse-Web Database Data Synchronization

- Our connector software allows programs on Eclipse to talk directly to a website’s local database. Changes in Eclipse can add, update or delete records in the web database.

Web Application Interface for Eclipse

- Websites written using Java, PHP or .NET can connect directly to Eclipse to submit orders and retrieve information. Orders or other data submitted from the website are guaranteed to be compatible with Eclipse.

- Interactive communication between a website and Eclipse using our proprietary connector is high-speed. Users typically get a response in less than one second when submitting orders or requesting account status.

- Access to Eclipse is limited to only the capabilities which have been provided for the website, so the security of the backend Eclipse system is maintained.

- The load placed on the Eclipse server by web traffic is minimal. Each web connection has less impact than a single user entering orders directly through Eterm.
